Forums

As an extension to our technical writing, courseware development and documentation conversion services, we also offer a service implementing an Internet Forum, also known as a Message Board.

What an Internet Forum achieves is creating a place where your shareholders, employees and even customers can leave public messages, for example, to ask questions, announce events, or share information. People participating in an Internet forum can build bonds with each other and interest groups will easily form around a topic's discussion, common subjects dealt with, or around sections in the forum.

This may also lead to users of software applications creating extensions to a user manual by adding task instructions which may not be found in a user manual. This is a seriously healthy value-adding activity whereby users are contributing to successful software use.

What is an Internet Forum?
An Internet forum[1], or message board, is an online discussion site. It is the modern equivalent of a traditional bulletin board, and a technological evolution of the dialup bulletin board system.

From a technological standpoint, forums or boards are web applications managing user-generated content.
